MTS And LEED Credits
MTS Seating is focused on educating our sales team, vendors and customers regarding the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system for building projects. Our products may contribute to various LEED credits.
Recycled Content: Many of our chairs contain a percentage of recycled content, with some as high as 43% (combined total of post-industrial and post-consumer material).

Green Seal’s ‘Greening the Lodging Industry’ Program
The Green Seal™ Environmental Standard for Lodging Properties (GS-33) requires an ‘Environmentally and Socially Sensitive Purchasing Policy’ be in place at applying properties. By specifying and purchasing MTS products, you may contribute to credit 3.6.4 regarding durable goods, and 3.6.6 regarding recyclable packaging.
MTS cannot guarantee that any of our products will contribute to a specific number of credits under the LEED rating systems. We recommend that you consult with a LEED Accredited Professional for detailed information regarding specific credit requirements.
