OPERATIONS & PROCESSES

> Our powder coating system utilizes cyclone-based reclaim technology to collect overspray and reuse excess powder. Since 2004 we have eliminated more than 600,000 pounds of waste with this system.

> Recycling programs are in place for scrap steel, aluminum, wood and corrugated materials. In each of the last five years, we have recycled more than 3 million pounds of scrap from our manufacturing facilities. We have also established recycling programs for paper and beverage containers in our corporate offices.

> All of our manufacturing facilities and offices utilize energy-efficient T8 fluorescent lighting, eliminating approximately 530,000 kilowatt hours, 800,000 pounds of carbon dioxide, and nearly 1.4 million pounds of sulfur dioxide in 2007.
